Alpha Scientific Laboratories, Inc. (ASLI), was formed in 1997 and incorporated
in the State of Maryland. The company was created to provide consulting, program management, and technical and engineering
support to clients in government and industry. As a small, woman-owned business, ASLI has been providing the highest level
of quality consulting services and consistently exceeding customer expectations. A Quality Assurance Plan has been developed
to ensure such service. Although currently providing a small but focused team of consulting experts, ASLI has capabilities
to expand as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction. ASLI's expertise can be divided into three general areas, as shown
below:

Program Management and Data Management
Multi-billion dollar programs (such as the DoD Purchase Card Program) and small local
projects (such as a marketing data base for MasterCard International) can benefit from ASLI's disciplined systems approach
to program management. The key is to ensure that programs are properly aligned internally, as well as properly integrated
with their surroundings. ASLI can assist organizations in identifying action plans, and can develop the performance measures
necessary to ensure that the plans' goals are being accomplished.
Training and Field Support
All plans are worthless without the means to carry them out. ASLI personnel are
experienced in providing the customized training, leadership, and on-site support to ensure that your plans are understood
and implemented in the most efficient manner. We can develop training programs for world-wide implementation with web-based
delivery; we can construct training monitoring and testing systems to ensure that training is working; we can provide expert
personnel to provide on-site advice, assistance, guidance, and training.

Systems Analysis, Engineering, and Management
No program operates in a vacuum. All business as well as technical processes must
interface with other processes by receiving input data (planned and unplanned), by responding to or creating control actions,
or by providing output products or data for use by other processes. Our consultants are experienced in identifying and analyzing
the complete environment in which business processes must function. Whether the application is a financial control system,
an interface with an automated bill-paying system, a system of standards for digital documentation exchange, or an integrated
surveillance and weapon system, our consultants are experienced in ensuring its proper alignment with its neighboring systems
and proceesses. In addition, we understand that programs can be optimized at many levels in terms of cost, schedule, and performance.
The key to our systems approach to business and operations improvement is the understanding that it is not enough for a business
process to operate efficiently -- it must also improve or enhance the performance of its neighboring processes.
